Budget Everest base camp trek

Everest base camp trek is one of the most popular trekking trails in the world. It offers an adventurous walk within high Himalaya areas of Khumbu region of Nepal. You can have the first-hand experience of rich Sherpa culture & stunning views of Himalaya.
Everest base camp trek starts with a short scenic flight to Lukla. Lukla 2,800m is a gateway to enter the Everest region. You should follow Dudh Koshi River most of the time in this trek. First night on the mountain will be at Fakding after a short walk. You have to climb up to Namche Bazar in your second-day trekking which brings you to the altitude of 3,440m above the sea level. Namche bazar is famous for local market too. Of course, most of the trekkers stay at least two nights here for acclimatization. You may have a wonderful sightseeing around Namche Bazar & Syangboche for a great view of Mt. Everest & others many higher mountains. You may visit the local market; the local market will be busy on Friday & Saturday. Hence you may visit all the time to see its many trekking gears shops, art shop, Cyber café, departmental stores, Pub, bank etc.
After acclimatization at Namche Bazar, now you climb a bit & walk on the mountain with a great view of the highest peak Mt. Everest, 4th highest peak Mt. Lhotse, beautiful Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kusum Himal, Nuptse, Kongde, & many more. You should trek down to Fungi Thanga from Lausasa. Lausasa has two ways; one goes to Gokyo lake trek & other goes to Tyangboche. So you are on the way to Tyangboche now from here. A steep climb is waiting for you after lunch at Fungi Thanga. Approximately, two ours climb on this mountain
will bring you on top of the Tyangboche for overnight. Tyangboche is famous for its old monastery.
From Tyangboche, all the time you may have a stunning view of the beautiful mountain to Dingboche. Dingboche offers another acclimatization day for you. You may still climb on higher mountains in Dingboche day as well. After a rest day in Dingboche, you will be walking way to Lobuche. Lobuche is nearly 5,000m above the sea level so you have to be careful from acute mountain sickness. AMS can be dangerous for life sometimes. If you got problem AMS please stop to climb up to the mountain. Worse headache, dizziness, blur vision, vomiting, very tired, no appetite, short breaths are common symptoms of AMS.
Now, you are very close to your ultimate destination Everest base camp. This was your dream to touch the highest base camp in the world. You will trek some very rough trails before Gorakshep & before base camp. Normally, we will bring you to base camp from Lobuche via Goraksep. You may take the photo on base camp, spend sometimes & back to Gorakshep for an overnight.  You may climb to Kalapathar for sun setting view as well or climb early in the morning for sun rising view. Sun setting view is recommended to see. After an amazing experience of Everest base camp & Kala Patthar now time to go back down to Lukla. Trek down to Pheriche, Namche Bazar, Lukla. You will fly back to Kathmandu with a short flight in the morning.
After all, we will drop you at the airport as per your international flight. We hope you will enjoy this trek for your life experience. And we always wish you will visit Nepal in future too.
You may find many different prices for this trek. International travel agencies are very expensive. Nepal local trekking agencies are comparatively far cheaper. But some trekking agencies are offering unbelievably low & cheap price in Nepal. Our humble request is; do not buy that very cheap price. You will not get good service. And most important thing is that they will not give good salary to the workers. Guide & porters will not get a satisfactory salary. We hope you do not want to make them work with maximum lower price. Normally, Everest trek is expensive. You should pay a very high price for Lukla flight. Kathmandu-Lukla-Kathmandu flight retail cost is $356 for a foreigner. Food & accommodation also are very expensive in this region due to transportation. Three different types of trekking permit also making it expensive. But we still have very competitive and reasonable price.
It is medium to hard level. Almost, all the trekkers can do it. You need to climb up slowly. You need to drink a lot of water. You need the dedication to do it. If you have a regular physical exercise at home and fit, you will do it easily. But you have to climb to 5,364m above the sea level so you have to be mentally prepared too.
Normally, you will walk 11/12 days in Everest region, 8 days to climb to base camp from Lukla with two acclimatization days & 3 or 4 days to go back to Lukla from base camp. You need to come to Kathmandu first & preparation for trekking & at least one more extra day after trekking. You may say, it is back up day as well because Lukla flight is not that sure due to its weather sometimes. Let’s say you need at least 14/15 days altogether.
Mount Everest base camp is a popular & most important place for the Everest expedition. Now it is world famous for trekking. You need a lot of climbing gears & a long time to climb Mount Everest. But you are only interested to see the world’s highest peak & feel it. You would like to see famous Sherpa people in this region. And you want to touch Everest.  So when you come here for trekking; you will come to on lap of this big mountain. Basecamp is a starting point of the Everest expedition. There is a lot of ice & glacier on the bottom of Everest. All the expedition climbers fix their camp on this place. It is 5,364m above the sea level. Trekkers also can walk to this place to see Everest.
